Interlink Scaffolding Ltd, commonly referred to as ISL, was established in November 2003, and has quickly developed into one of the largest scaffolding contractors based in the North East of England, and carries out projects nationwide.
ISL are capable of providing access scaffold and temporary works across any sector including housing, commercial building and civil engineering, industrial sites and rail infrastructure and all employees have extensive experience and qualifications within the scaffolding industry, and are provided with training at every level from basic health and safety training, through trade specific CISRS scaffolding courses, to CISRS / SSSTS supervisor courses, SMSTS management courses, and NEBOSH Health and Safety courses.
ISL specialise in using highly adaptable tube and fitting scaffold, and has access to numerous types of system scaffold, including bridges, staircases and temporary roofing, from both our own stocks and through hire and sales agreements with a number of selected suppliers, providing for national coverage.
ISL specialise in tube and fitting scaffolding due to its flexibility and cost advantages on medium to long term projects. System scaffolds can be provided, including Layher, Haki, Cuplok and Kwikstage, where these are best suited to a specific project, particularly where they can offer programme benefits.
ISL carries out the design of scaffolding internally to meet the requirements of BS EN 12811-1 and TG20:13, and also has close links with a number of independent design companies with specific experience of scaffold and temporary works to complete independent checks. Alternative temporary works solutions other than scaffolding can be provided where there is a benefit in terms of cost or program, including safety netting, roped access, powered access, formwork and custom designed and fabricated steelwork.
